Buy a Brick

To help support the depot renovation and the reinstallation of the museum of local history, the buy-a-brick program is still in effect.  Bricks have already been laid in front of the depot and a new set of bricks will be added in the Spring of 2013.

In 2012 the Whitewater Historical Society completed a public campaign to raise $40,000 in matching funds to restore the Depot Museum building. Thanks to your generous support, we met our fundraising goal. The restored Depot re-opened to the public in April of 2013.

Today the Society’s Buy A Brick campaign raises funds to support continuing efforts to improve how the Society’s collections are preserved, displayed and interpreted in the restored Depot Museum.

Show your support by having a personalized brick laid in the walkway leading to the Depot Museum on Whitewater Street! To inquire about buying a memorial brick to honor a family, individual, or business, contact Ellen Penwell, 262-203-6529 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
